The property is an hour walk from varenna and there is no public transportation. Taxis were the only means of transportation which got a little pricey.
AEBeautiful and cosy place as expected, located in a small lovely village Gittana, near province of Leco Varrena(5-6 min.away by car).Apartment is big and clean with amazing lake view from all windows. The host Anzhela very friendly and helpful, was in touch with us at all times. She advised us where to go, what to do and where to try the most delicious local food. Anzhela really taking care about her guests as a family members!❤️ Definitely we advise to have a car to reach this place, as here no public transport. We rented car in airport Bergamo, as we planed to drive all around the lake Como. Our stay place “All Ulivo” has very convenient location and you can visit a lot of beautiful cities around( by car ,by boats, by walk). In the village there are 2 beautiful places to visit for dinner: Enoteca ”Casa Giacomina” and Restaurant “Semi Di Grano”. We stayed for one week and really enjoyed our vocation! Fingers crossed we will come back🇮🇹

LTIt's hard to describe the experience we had in these apartments. We were impressed by everything. The apartments are amazing, with great attention to detail and absolute cleanliness. We slept like on a cloud; the beds are soft and extremely comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful. Anzhela is an incredible host, a very warm person. She offered us her yard, terrace, and garden for grilling. She even set the table for us! We are immensely grateful to Anzhela for this experience. Kira is such a sweet dog! Sending kisses and we will definitely return!
AUGorgeous large and comfortable apartment with character, great kitchen, incredibly clean, lake views. Easy parking just around the corner. Lovely and helpful host. Decent but doable walk to Varenna.
GBWhat can we say? An enchanting little village of Gittana, and the most beautiful of villas. Thank you Anzghela for your wonderful hospitality; air conditioning such a bonus, and our host was so helpful with things to do in the area, Just onw thing - follow the dropped pin on Booking.com, not the listed address! Also - go the Enoteca in Gittana for an evening with local (wonderful) wines by the glass and cheeses, with an amazing Swedish host. A tremendous evening and 20 metres from your front door!

ILThe apparent is super clean and spacious. We felt there very comfortable. The balcony is a perfect place for coffee in the morning with a breathtaking view. The host and her family were kind and sweet. They helped us with everything we needed, always attentive. We are very grateful.
DEAmazing hosts and great hospitality! Beautifully decorated and spacious apartment with gorgeous view of the lake. The apartment is located in a lovely town around the lake. It has a well equipped kitchen and everything in the entire apartment is thoughtfully picked.
