Heritage Town Welsh Cottage

The property was spacious, nicely furnished, parking was good as it’s right outside the house on a private road, nice little garden with chairs and a table. Owners also extremely helpful and reply very quickly to messages 😊

Property wasn’t as clean as we would have expected, it definitely needed vacuuming as there was bits all over the floor, but there isn’t a vacuum there to use. Also there was loads of long dark hair on the double bed which was a bit disgusting as we had to clear it off. Other beds were fine. Additionally, there is a washing machine and washing detergent etc, yet there’s nowhere to dry clothes, no washing line, no airer, nothing. Next door seems quite rude for no apparent reason.

Everything great value for money great location comfortable clean would not hesitate to stop here again

It was a lovely cottage and the photos were appropriate to the reality. It was well furnished and stocked with useful items

A coat rail on entry would have been useful as there was nowhere to hang them. The smaller double bedroom could potentially be better laid out with the bed in the corner and 1 bedside table as you could barely get in the bedroom door.

It was clean and comfortable.

Instructions for the television and the coffee maker would have been useful. We found the television very confusing. Couldn't find any BBC or ITV channels. The coffee maker had been jammed shut by someone not removing spent pods. Also the outside bins were overflowing and there was no room for or small amount of refuse.

As others have said, the pictures of the cottage really don’t do it justice. The furnishings and fittings look nearly new, and it was spotless on our arrival. The bed in the main bedroom is the biggest we have ever seen! The private parking outside the property is a real bonus as most of the population of Blaenavon seem to have to park on the narrow streets. Lots of lovely walks around the area plus heritage attractions like Big Pit and the Iron Works a short distance away.

The place was lovely and the photos does not give it justice of how nice it is!

We had a issue with next door as they thought we were noisy but we were only 5 adults having conversation over a late dinner with a bit of music in the background.

Lovely Cottage equipped with all you need for the stay, comfortable bed

No information pack, half the pubs permanently closed, the cottage is full of extention leads had crawl under Bed to plug lamp in. And where do start with the stairs, where the bathroom is situated at the top of the stairs, BEWARE IT'S AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN, l.would be worried about staying here with young Children or Elderly people, be fully awake if you need the loo in the middle of the night 🌙 would I stay here again NO sorry for harsh review but people need to know,

Parking right by the house, great cooking facilities. Comfortable beds and heating worked very well. Great location for sightseeing.
