"The real Balinese Homestay experience"

I really felt welcome once I arrived at Ayu Bisma Ubud and was greeted by the owner, Ibu Ayu. I can really feel the real homestay experience while staying here. I only booked a room with a fan. Please don't expect a fancy room here. Its only a basic room, but at least i can sleep comfortably here. The pool is great. The location of this house also so convinient. Tucked away from main road of Bisma street. You can easily found many warung, resto, shop, cafe along the bisma street. Ubud palace just 10 min walk from here. In the morning when Ayu finish cooking for her family, she invited me to join them. I was join them enjoy breakfast. It was a rice with some balinese style veggie and fish. It was the best real balinese home cooking that i ever taste. Well maybe because I a the only guest who stay in her house, so she just spontaneously invite me to join them. I see how struggling Ayu and her family at this moment. 2 years of pandemic really make the situation bad for her family. Getting cheated by the former property management, bank debt, etc. That's why then she can't do renovation in her house, however, it was enough for me. I mean the room is still fair enough with the price. If you guys want to enjoy the real Balinese homestay experience while help a local family, this is the place that you must stay, AYU BISMA UBUD

The room is quite old, however, I understand how struggling Ayu at this moment. I do really hope that she can pass this situation and can save money to do some renovation to make her place shine again.
