Gorgeous cottage in Bowness

Location. Easy to walk from the cottage up to the hills nearby or down to Bowness (but a steep hill back up, which we knew about). Good views on a clear day. Nice lounge and lots of games provided.

Very cramped for dining for 6. Lack of second toilet.

the property was in an excellent location. clean and tidy with comfortable furnishings.

I can’t say there was anything to dislike. It does have a steep hill but if physically able this wouldn’t be an issue.

Fantastic location and spacious and comfortable house. Perfect for a family of five. Easy walking distance to ships and restaurants and amazing views of the lake from several of the bedrooms.

Property was truly lovely and exactly like the photos, if only my bathroom was that big ha. It is at the top of a steep incline but we were prepared for that and you can’t knock it as you are in such a close proximity to the town which is ideal with two little ones. Louise was very helpful and responsive to any message sent even providing recommendations for places to eat. Would definitely look to stay again in future or recommend to a friend.

My only note would be there wasn’t a lot of room if all 6 guests had wanted to eat together at the dining table. We couldn’t actually find a 6th chair but as we we were on a short stay I didn’t ask if there was one so I will hold my hands up to that.
