Gatlinburg Cabin Sleeps 8 Hot Tub Fire Pit & Smoky Mountain Views

Wonderful views! Great communication with the owner. Plenty of room for 6 adults to stretch out. We didn't use the hot tub. Close to town. Very comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful.

Steep and curvy road to the house, which isn't a negative but was somewhat unexpected.

The property was just plain dirty and poorly maintained. It’s obvious that whatever cleaners they have just do the absolute minimum. The showers were unusable as they did not hold a consistent temperature and there were poorly placed shower caddies hanging from the shower heads so they were kinked in an awkward position and could not be moved. The hot tub was not on when we arrived and we had to flip a breaker. The bed frame in one room was actually broken and coming apart. Our feet were black after walking around the floors for just a few hours. It was a true camping experience that I was not expecting.

The view was spectacular with the added bonus of a beautiful "mountain puppy" (bear) visitor for the majority of our stay. We really appreciated the additional finishing touches to make our stay more comfortable, too.

The only concerns we had were that there were a few power issues with the hot tub and a couple of wall outlets.

This property boasts a new hot tub, and a review response from the owners said the hot tub was new, so this made us pick the property over another one with a hot tub as it is new and would work.. you’d think anyways. Yet it didn’t work at all on our 4 night stay. Owner dragged us along thinking it would be fixed. Then he apologized profusely saying he will make it right. We messaged him saying we were checking out a day early at 2:30 pm Sunday (checkout was Monday) saying we were leaving, and he claims the electrician was on the way to fix it. By that time we had no interest on sticking around. The master shower felt like the bottom was going to fall through, the jets in the master tub were disgusting causing black debris in the tub. Clogged shower in shared bathroom. Upstairs was nice and cold, down stairs was hot. Slept with the windows open. Fridge had a busted shelf. Upstairs bathroom had no toilet paper, be sure to bring your own. For the price we paid I and the experience we got we are completely disappointed. We were looking for a relaxing getaway with a hot tub.. literally my husband’s only requirement and instead we now need a vacation from the getaway. I’ve contacted the owner since asking about the refund he promised.. 2 weeks later offered us a $100 when the price difference between a property with a hot tub for that long of a stay was easily $500.

The view from the deck was spectacular! Plenty of room for my family of 7. Excellent host!

Being from Louisiana we were not used to the roads and the drive up was not what we expected to the actual cabin. Steep hills and sharp turns but we survived and LOVED every minute of it.
