Ercole Luxury Flat

Ilio was the kindest host! He arranged to pick us up from the train station and took us back when we checked out. We loved everything and felt instantly at home. It is very clean, really beautiful and just perfect. We had all the amenities we needed and more. There was always hot water with great water pressure, a fully stocked kitchen, and comfortable beds. The washing machine, dishwasher and whirlpool tub were really nice bonuses! The location could not have been better. Truly the heart of Sessa Aurunca. There was lots of light and a wonderful view of the piazza below to experience the daily life of this magical place. It was truly an exceptional stay and are already looking forward to our return!

There is nothing bad to say! We loved everything about it! A true gem and a great value!

Our stay at Ercole Luxury Flat was absolutely perfect. The rating of 10 out of 10 is entirely deserved! The location is excellent, especially for families with children — quiet, safe, and very convenient. Everything just worked out wonderfully: the location, the apartment’s equipment (literally everything we needed was provided), the free parking, and above all, the owner’s engagement and care. It all met — and even exceeded — my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

Ercole Luxury Flat is exceptional. There is a lot of light from large windows. The kitchen, reception room and spacious dining room are laid out in an open design. The host not only met my friend and I with a key, he offered to pick us up at the train station for a reasonable fee. Because he would be away when we checked out, his son drove us back to the train station. It is a lovely place to stay. I recommend it highly.

The location of the flat is fantastic, and the flat itself as well. Three different balconies look in 3 different directions. One narrow but long balcony (accessible from kitchen and lounge and dining area) overlook a quiet square with beautiful architecture as backdrop and an olive tree in front. The big arched double door opened makes you feel as being part of the outside. We spent quite a bit of time just sitting on the couch, sipping wine and overlooking the little square and the village life happening on it. A small balcony from the main bedroom looks down a cute, narrow street. From the second bedroom a square balcony overlooks the main square lined with restaurants and bars. Here again one can watch the village life happening (and we visiting in summer meant lots of life on the square until way past midnight). La dolce vita happening right in front of us, framed by the geranium flowers on the balcony railing. Modern double glazed doors and windows with shutters do block any sound and light effectively when you don't want it. We enjoyed the very authentic Italian vibe in Sessa Aurunca with almost no tourists. The town itself has lots to offer. Beautifully situated on a hill, it features an antique amphitheater (which we visited all alone), and a medieval quarter with very narrow streets. Ilio, our host was fantastic. He came personally to greet us, showed us where to park for free (tricky in Italy for sure!), gave us fantastic insider tips on the area's attractions, both near and further. He told us how to park for only 2 Euros at Pompeii (unheard of, and impossible without detailed inside knowledge), advised how to avoid traffic, and always responded to whatsapp messages immediately or within very short time. At the end he came again and personally bade us farewell. The beaches are 20min drive away, and Pompeii about 1.5h drive. We avoided driving into Rome and took a direct train (less than 2 hours) from the nearby station (about 8km away).

Spacious apartment right next to the historic town center. Very well constructed. Attention to detail. Beautifully decorated. Ilio was a very responsive host. Free parking was close by. Overall, wonderful experience.
