Kasbah de Ouirgane

Lovely traditional place with many plants , pool and amazing views.the food is very tasty.great location for a relax.there is no local bus but kind owner will organize taxi for you.no shops or restaurants close by as this is remote place few kilometres from the center of the village but we knew it before so we were happy with the quiet location.

Everything was great.

The property has the most amazing view over Ourigane- we felt like we were on a retreat from the minute we arrived. We were upgraded to a bigger room no problem and could have a late check out. Nizza’s food is so delicious. We were looked after so well. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you Abdul and Nizza.

There are other places to stay in Ouirgane, but this place has the best views by far. Set up on the hill overlooking the lake and the mountains it really is a spectacular place. Quiet, calm, just beautiful. The rooms are basic but have everything you need and are entirely in keeping. Limited choice locally in terms of shops or restaurants but the food at the Kasbah is pretty good and they're able to provide water, beer and wine too. Small pool is a lovely way to soothe tired legs and feet after a day trekking - both Mohammed (local guide) and Hamid (works at the Kasbah) are great guides. The owner Jaouad is very helpful and the small team who work with him are wonderful. It's a very special place indeed.
