Jang Sripoom House

This was right next to the old city. So good walking distant to a lot of places - so very convenient. The staff were helpful and quick to respond. Yes the hotel may be a little old and dated. But it was clean and had what I needed. So very happy to have stayed there and would definitely stay there again 😀

First: the look of the rooms is classic US Motel Style, where, like in the movies, OG‘s meet to do deals or difficult couples get away from life.

It is noisy. Even loud at times. But that‘s the main street and the hotel is not accountable. The bathroom is tiny and you literally shower almost in the sink. The bathroom smells a little wet and the water pressure equals 0, which is super annoying. The bedclothes smelled a little of garlic sweat and hat stains. TV remote doesn’t work too good (put my own batteries in. Still…). Considering all: it is budget. But even budget CAN be nice (Sam Sen Sam - BKK or Le Neuf Lampang). This one is, if you‘re 20 and reckless and wild, quite okay. If you passed 50, like me, you might want to look somewhere else. I really don‘t know how to rate this, because it‘s all so subjective, but since my feeling is „aah! finally getting away here!“, i rate this 6. It‘s not bad. Not good either.

Ho dormito in questa struttura per 6 notte da sola e mi sono trovata davvero bene. Camera spaziosa dove c’è tutto quello che serve. La posizione è buona, a 8 minuti a piedi si è al centro della città, stanza e bagno sono puliti e a richiesta possono pulire la camera. Ogni giorno mi venivano lasciate due bottigliette d’acqua. Sono arrivata alle 9 di mattina e ho potuto lasciare il bagaglio da loro dato che il check in è a mezzogiorno e anche quando sono andata via, comodo. Consiglio!

La struttura è vicino la strada quindi si sente il traffico e anche le persone che parlano fuori quindi consiglio dei tappi per le orecchie per dormire. Al check in la ragazza non parla inglese quindi abbiamo parlato con il traduttore. In bagno non c’è una finestra né una ventola quindi non passa aria ma non è un gran problema dato che in stanza c’è una finestra grande.
