"Nice apartment"

it was a good area near the beach with two clubs next door with several tuk tuk outside. The owner of the house served me with a lot of information she was available at any time via whatsapp for any question that existed.

the only negative I can add is the sound from the clubs next door until 3:00 in the morning

The property came with everything we could’ve needed. Washing powder, bathroom ammenities, mosquitoe sprays - everything! Caren is a gorgeous host. We had a small issue with the property, and Caren arrived with a tradesmen to fix it straight away!

"Excellent host but a few issues need attention"

The host Caren, was super helpful with regards to activities, restaurants, recommendations for tuk tuk drivers and how to get by. The housekeeper Josephine was also exceptional, helped me navigate the area and was very polite.

The bed was broken and the slats had collapsed so the bed had a curve in the middle, luckily it was just for two nights. Hot water was an issue, each time I tried to use a hot shower, it became scalding hot, so ended up having a cold shower instead which wasn’t my preference. Wish the advert mentioned that guests should pay cash in local currency (Kenyan Shillings) and if paying in US$ there would be a surcharge for commission. I assumed I would pay the US$ stipulated on Booking dot com but that wasn’t the case. The shower curtain could have also done with a good wash or replacement. The best experience for this stay was the host and housekeeper’s candour, otherwise the stay could been better. A few teething issues as above. There were a few teething

Our host Caren arranged for our transfer shuttle from Mombasa SGR terminus to her airbnb. Early check in was perfect since we arrived at 5 in the morning! Housekeeping is amazing! The environment is clean and safe. The location is central, easily acessible to Diani Beach and Carrefour among other shopping centres. My partner and i highly recommended booking Palm Paradise Loft!
