USMXThis hotel has a lot of water-based activities on-site, so it is nice for a day-trip outside of Merida to cool off from the heat. The restaurant is nice and the staff are friendly
For the price we paid for the room, we were disappointed that there was no hot water and the celling did not work properly. In addition, we had to pay for every little thing - water and coffee, for example. You could only access the water activities with a guide, so it was very controlled.

USThe room and the hotel service was great! The cenote and the river are definitely worth a stop at this hotel. Swimming in a cenote at night was an experience we won't forget. Great place to stay.
The only reason we didn't give them a 10/10 was because the restaurant staff was not the best. When ordering breakfast we called and gave our order (vegetarian omelet no ham). They called our room twice to confirm and we still got ham in our omelets. The worst incident though was one night for dinner they served us in a chipped glass. My spouse chewed on and swallowed small pieces of glass before realizing it and spitting some back out. This could have been very dangerous and thankfully nothing came of it. The waitress was apologetic, they didn't charge us for our meal but they promised the general manager would be speaking to us the next morning and we never heard from anyone.
XAMXExcellent hotel to stay at for a special occasion. Grounds were beautiful. Tour was awesome.
