The private Onsen with an amazing view. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful in any situation.

The room was spacious and clean , bed was comfortable, the view from the room where facing the lake was excellent, the onsen in the room was spacious and facing the lake was great, kaiseki dinner and breakfast was very well presented and delicious, car parking was convenient, hotel staffs are friendly.

Nothing - it was perfect.

My husband and I stayed for one night and were blown away! The staff are exceptional and go out of their way for your every need. They even sent some breakfast to my room when I wasn't feeling well enough to go to the restaurant for breakfast.

Meals were good with quality ingredients. Room was comfortable and warm with plenty of space but at that price point, we would expect no less. I would rate it more highly if it had costed half of what I paid.

Overpriced. Most staff spoke only Japanese so it can be difficult getting exactly what we need.

Absolutely everything. This is the nicest hotel/ryokan we have ever stayed in, and we will absolutely be coming back! Hinanoza is so relaxing, I’ve never been so relaxed! You literally don’t have to think about a thing. Wake up, private onsen, breakfast, nap, onsen, Sammy from Lawson across the street, read, dinner, drinks at the bar, onsen, sleep. Rinse and repeat for four days. Incredible!

Not a thing, except maybe I wish I could have bought a pair of the provided pajamas. Easily the nicest I have ever worn!
