The Snowshoe Lodge

We supplied our own breakfast and found most of the kitchen supplies we needed. (A small saucepan was missing.)

One reading/task light next to the bed did not work. The room was a bit stuffy with a chemically-weird-like smell, so a portable fan may have helped. The floor of the shower was slippery, so a grab bar of some type would be helpful.

the place was great overall, although the refrigerator wasn't on when we arrived and was pretty wet inside. I was traveling with an injury & needed my ice packs to refreeze quickly and this took a while and then wound up freezing all my food too. it was a bummer. not ideal.

Room was clean, quiet, private! Enjoyed our stay!!

Would have liked an ice machine.

The location was perfect, right on the edge of town. The room was basic, but very comfortable and clean.

Missing an actual person to check in with. Keys were left in a little room, but would have liked to talk to an actual person. This was most likely because it was the off-season.

The room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. The room was fresh and clean.

The parking lot and sidewalks were a sheet of ice. I realize we are in the northeast. Watching the worker and a guest fall was very concerning. The toilet ran constantly. There was No heat. We got a portable heater from the office. It did warm up eventually. The television did not work. The cable and roku would not connect. Daisy the person on duty was very helpful but her efforts came up short. I think a spring visit might be better for guests.
