Very convenient location in town, with parking outside. Very clean and spacious

Only very minor problem with missing mains lead for kettle, immediately resolved by 'borrowing' similar from reception

I liked everything. I had been traveling around Sicily for six weeks and wanted a break in a nice town near the beach just to relax for a few days, do a bit of hiking and catch up with work. Licata was a good choice. It is a friendly town, with spectacular beaches, good cafes and restaurants. I enjoyed my stay at Dolce Marea very much, and I would gladly go back there again. I stayed for a week in flat number two on the first floor. It was by far the most luxurious place I stayed in during my travels in Sicily. The flat had been decorated with taste and a good eye for detail. It has a comfortable bed, a good mattress, and a fine bathroom with an excellent shower. I also liked the fact that there was an actual desk in the living room, which was great as I work online. The wifi was good and I think it would be a good place for digital nomads. The place has a very central location in town, just a short walk from the train and bus station and close to several good cafes. At the same time, it is surprisingly quiet and offers a lot of privacy. Checking in and out was easy. I had the pleasure of meeting Daniel and his mother in person and they could not have been nicer. Daniel was also very helpful with suggestions for the best places for coffee and food. He is a very good host.
