We went on holiday to a tropical island, so the goal was never to spend too much time at the place we booked at. However, the time that we did spend there was GREAT, the owner of the property and his staff are truly salt of the earth human beings, they went above and beyond to look after our every need. They assisted in putting together a beautiful local wedding form myself and my wife after our arrangements fell through due to issues with the ongoing war in the middle east. On top of that, in the last couple of days of our holiday, my daughter fell ill with a virus. The owners of the establishment were caring and compassionate, they were always checking in on us and assisting with transport to and from the hospital/ while happily going out of their way to look after us. Nothing better in this world than good, caring human beings. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay here. We were warmly greeted at the port, which immediately made us feel welcome. The guest house has such a nice vibe, and in the evenings the beautiful fairy lights in the well-kept inner garden make it feel especially charming. The staff were absolutely amazing throughout our stay. You can really feel that they have resort experience, because everything is handled so professionally and warmly. The mattress was nice and firm, the breakfast was abundant and tasty, the rooms were cleaned every day, and it was also such a nice touch to have coffee and juice available all day.

If I had to mention one small downside, it would be that the power station is not very far away, so we could hear a low humming noise from it at times. Still, Mathiveri is such a welcoming island with very friendly locals that we already miss it.

Majitel se s námi domluvil na slevě při rezervaci mimo booking - velká chyba! Dorazili jsme a nedal nám náš pokoj, ale tmavou kopku bez denního světla - sliboval výměnu, ale jen sliboval. Nedostali jsme to, co jsme si zaplatili. Syn zde chytl infekci (dle nemocnice z jídla) - měli jsme zde polopenzi. Byl 3 dny hospitalizovaný v místní nemocnici. Polopenzi zde již nikdy více. Komunikace s majitelem při příjezdu - nereagoval na mé zprávy zda nás vyzvedne - po delší době napsal, že něco řeší - pak tedy přijel….

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Unterkunft war sauber und wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und lecker.

Alles war gut!
