Die nette und zuvorkommende Art unseres Hosts. Für den Preis darf man nicht zu viel erwarten. Das Zimmer ist ziemlich beengt. Zwei Koffer offen zu platzieren erfordert etwas Kreativität. Durch die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit wird alles schnell etwas stockig.

The location was great, lovely view of the lake and walking distance to restaurants. The decor was very stylish and cosy. The breakfast was also really tasty. Host was very friendly and understanding, he gave us an upgrade to a bigger room with a private bathroom as well as lot of good tips and recommendations.

Unfortunately there was a local carnival on during our stay so was quite loud well into the night but this affects the whole valley and is not the fault of the hotel. Host also warned us about it and provided earplugs which was nice.

Nothing, everything was lovely

The location of the place and the rooms were very pretty, with amazing view. The best thing about the stay was the host who was following up since 3 days before our visit and made sure we reached the location with best possible options available and ensured we explored all the places by guiding us to them. Must visit for the location, the view, and if you want your Sri Lanka trip to be smooth.

Wir hatten einen rundum sehr schönen Aufenthalt und können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen. Alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich, sodass man sich direkt wohlgefühlt hat. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Gastgeber der unglaublich hilfsbereit und engagiert ist. Als wir etwas in einem Taxi vergessen hatten, hat er uns sofort unterstützt und sich darum gekümmert. Sogar mit etwas geliehenem Geld hat er uns in der Situation ausgeholfen. Das war wirklich nicht selbstverständlich und hat uns sehr geholfen. Die Unterkunft selbst ist insgesamt gepflegt und in einem guten Zustand, zeigt aber an manchen Stellen, wie etwa den Fenstern, leichte Gebrauchsspuren. Das hat unseren Aufenthalt jedoch in keiner Weise beeinträchtigt. Insgesamt eine sehr positive Erfahrung mit einem außergewöhnlich hilfsbereiten Host!

The room was amazing with a fantastic view of the lake! The host was really lovely and really knowledgeable about what to do in the area. We had the Sri Lankan style breakfast which was super tasty!

Lovely family run accommodation to stay for a night or two in Nuwara Eliya :)
