Dana Village Lodge

Einfaches, ausreichendes Zimmer. Ein super netter Besitzer mit seinen fleißig unterstützenden Söhnen steht für Fragen jeder Art zu Verfügung. Sie haben uns extra Decken und einen Heizlüfter zur Verfügung gestellt und waren jederzeit sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Gespräche waren sehr interessant und das Abendessen sehr lecker. Das Frühstück gab es im Tower Hostel. Die Lage ist top, besonders für Wanderungen ins Dana-Naturreservat. Abends empfehlen wir eine Runde über die kleinen Pfade mit Blick ins Tal. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr gut.

Very nice! A traditional house, where you can explore the traditional life in Dana village. Quiet, comfortable, clean, traditional food prepared in house. Also, the owner offers very good services (transport and guide) to explore the splendid valleys of Dana Nature Reserve. Dana Village Lounge is a very suitable place to spend time in this splendid area of ​​Jordan.

Could walk straight out onto the rim walk. Shower worked well. Bedroom was adequate. Bed pretty hard- camel hair? Good breakfast at Rainbow hotel.

Broken glass, broken awning. State of disrepair. Dog shit on path you have to walk to get to the hotel.

Hospitality of local people

Ramsey is a wonderful host, I felt extremely welcome. He was always reachable and made sure I had everything I needed. Ramsey and his neighbors are all very friendly people and are always ready to help and give advice. They also provide excellent information on the hikes in the area (Wadi Dana and Wadi Ghuweir trails are amazing), they have free options and guided options. Just ask them through Whatsapp or when you are there, and they will gladly help you. Breakfast and dinner are cheap and taste amazing! There is also a tiny shop just 20 meters away, where you can get drinks/food. The last morning I had the pleasure to sit down with Ramsey for breakfast and I'm very thankful for his hospitality.

A simple but clean and renovated accommodation in an old bedouin house. It is in a quiet corner of Dana (no street next to it) and amazing landscape around. No luxury but all you need! A warm and wellworking shower, comfortable beds, silence and your host is welcomign you and will have breakfast with you before you'll start for your hike:)

A thousand and one nights - that's how much I'd like to stay here and I still think it wouldn't be enough. Absolutely wonderful! - very comfortable, clean, in the quiet of nature. And Ramzi, the owner so friendly and hospitable 🙏 I felt like a princess 👑 The hotel also offers traditional food, prepared "at home", under our eyes. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and I will definitely be back as soon as possible!

Memories House is located in the heart of Dana, you can experience how the people of the village lived in the past. And enjoy the history of Dana. The view of the mountains is superbe, watch this from the outdoor seating. Memories House is brandnew and belongs to a group of the village people. They also organise and guide beautiful walks in the Dana Nature Reserve. The owner is a great guy, who speaks good English. I highly recommand it!!!
