Green Mango Resort

The restaurant is not in the main streets next to the beach and thanks to that it’s not crowded. They have swimming pool in the middle of resort, but there is no restriction. Some people swim in clothes, some in underwear. It’s not something that I can say it’s an advantage. There is so close to really good restaurant - Kri Restaurant.

We have a lot of ants in room and bathroom. I don’t remember if we had tv set even in room. For sure there were flip flops in the room which you can use. However they were used a lot of times before us, because they’re dark and dirty. They weren’t new. The bathroom - low pressure and dirty. Ants again. The biggest disappointment we had after breakfast. Very limited option, without water or tea. Only dark coffee or juice. You have choose one meal which is not big and tasty.

An absolute disaster of a hotel, I don't even know where to start. We stayed for two days. We tried to take the free shuttle on three occasions and not once were we able to. We had to call a tuk-tuk, costing 150 pesos each time. Each time we returned to the hotel, they had changed the padlock on the room, and we had to wait quite a while to get back inside. Of course, they didn't clean the room. When we mentioned it, they sent someone at 9 PM, who only made the beds. They didn't clean the bathroom or replenish the soap. The breakfast is the worst I’ve ever seen. Of the American breakfast they advertise—coffee, toast, eggs, and bacon—there were only eggs and toast. There was no bacon; instead, they replaced it with "ham," which was basically inedible. The coffee only consists of bad instant packets with loads of sugar and powdered milk, not even something like Nescafé for a black coffee. There was a cockroach in the room that we had to kill. The entrance to the hotel looks like a trash storage area with boxes, not very inviting. The outside entrance literally has piles of garbage that they haven’t bothered to clean up. Finally, we booked the private transfer service to the ferry for 1000 pesos. But we made several stops along the way for their errands, picking things up, and even picking up other people. So basically, we paid to transport half the town. The experience felt like taking a taxi to go somewhere and having it take half an hour longer while arriving rushed because we had people joining us and had to wait for them. I think this is the first time I’ve given such a low rating to a hotel out of the possibly over 1,000 reviews I have on Booking.
