Secret Garden Villa Ella Bandarawela

Really nice room, cute house, and friendly staff. Good location for what we needed (visiting family as well as a base for activities like climbing Ella Rock).

My favourite thing there was to wind down on a comfortable sofa in the living room lit in a soothing tone of light by the grand-looking chandeliers and listening to some good old classics on the high-quality sound system they have kept for use by the guests. The kids loved playing in the garden which is safe and spacious to have a great time outdoors. The food was delicious! The fish curry in the morning is a MUST try with string hoppers, kiri hodi and pol sambal! The rooms are cosy and spacious, with comfortable beds and linen. The washrooms are modern & clean. Raj and Raja are perfect examples of great customer service!

Hard to say anything that we didn't like. Perhaps they can add a few more meal options, but overall what I found on the menu isn't too bad.
