Only the bed and bedding was clean

The unit was disgusting, it looked as if someone slept on the single bed prior to my arrival, loose carpets dirty, kitchen dirty, bedside lamp and tv didn't work

"It was close to nature and private."

Just a suggestion: seeing that you're situated close to the hospital a wheelchair ramp would be adviceable (wheelchair friendly)
