Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve and Wellness Retreat

A simply unforgettable 3 days at Bushman's Kloof as part of our honeymoon. Would recommend the optional extra 'exceptional dining' experiences - we did the private picnic lunch and dinner at the shepherd's hut and it was magical. We loved the activities - tried hiking, kayaking, archery and enjoyed the daily game drives. Seeing the cave art is really unique and interesting as well. The food is great, and the drinks selection is good too (alcohol not included in the all inclusive/full board rate). A truly special place!

Very remote and cozy resort. You can really wind down and be one with nature. We liked the private dinners and the spa! We had an early and afternoon nature drive and it was lovely! The wild life you see are cape zebra’s, springbok, Gnoe, ostrich, snakes and lots of birds. It’s an amazing place for hiking, biking, relax, spa, nature and flora fauna lovers. Second time for us and we are definitely returning guest!

I was extremely disappointed in the quality of service and food and what the weekends costs. Yes we are South Africans but I think this is a big disappointment. We received no service at most meals - needed to walk into the kitchen to ask for salt and pepper and water. No service at all. We booked a secret location dinner - where you provide exactly the same dinner thats "included" 20 meters further in the breakfast area. No special effort - yet charging us double essentially. Extremely disappointed - tourist trap. :(
