Staff were very friendly, very helpful and gave excellent service. They were central to our enjoying our stay! Stunning setting and great facilities. Fascination history and archeology

Beds, furniture and some of the old fittings-ie curtains and doors -are lovely but not very user friendly. Otherwise there is not much not to like!!

I loved the remoteness of the location and the view from my room over the little dam and onto the red sandstone cliffs. The restaurant was great, the staff were exceptional and the spa was fabulous. Wished we could have been there a little longer!

I was a little stymied by the complete lack of cell phone service as I needed to call a VW dealership in Cape Town to book my vehicle in for repairs. Got around it by whatsapping a friend who could call for me. And I was surprised by the limited gift shop assortment - I thought you could potentially do so much more there with a captive audience of guests!
