Large private detached home

We have stayed in a few air BnB's in Dungiven and this one has to be our favourite. The location was great as we have family in Dungiven. Great location for a walk to the graveyard and chapel. Shops are just a quick walk away. The area was nice and quiet so no issues with getting a good night's sleep. Plenty of towels and rooms were spacious. We went back home for a family wedding so the location and the facilities were perfect. The house itself was lovely and Olivia was quick to respond when we couldn't get the TV working and rectified it promptly. All kitchen appliances were available so it was great to be able to make meals on the nights we didn't eat out. The house was clean except for a few bits and bobs under the TV unit which really could be easily missed.

On arrival The house was pretty cold, however there were clear instructions on how to get the heating working so the house was heated in no time. The night before the wedding I went looking for the ironing board and iron and was disappointed that there wasn't one to be seen. Luckily we had family in Dungiven so I nipped across and got the men's shirts ironed and touched up the ladies dresses, this could potentially have been an issue for couples arriving with no family in the area. There were no dishwasher tablets so we had to wash the dishes in the sink for our stay ( not really an issue but would've been nice to not have to wash dishes ) there were some dishes left in the dishwasher which I presume we're left from the previous people who stayed in the house. All that being said I would certainly recommend this air BnB and would certainly stay again.

Fabulous house in a lovely area. We come to Ireland a couple of times a year as a family and usually stay in Derry but as our family over there have now moved, we chose to stay in Dungiven. House was spotlessly clean and beds are very comfortable. Plenty of towels and spare bedding available if needed.

Facilities are great but an iron would have been ideal. Some of the flooring needs replacing in my opinion. There are big gaps in the floor and in between doorways. We travelled with a 5 and 9 year old and I was worried about them walking around with no slippers on incase they caught their feet in the gaps. We arrived in the minus temperatures and inches of snow outside so would have been a lovely touch for the heating to have been on for a little while to take the chill off the house as it did feel very cold when we got there but the heating is brilliant and warmed up quickly. The whole house is tiled floors/laminate which completely makes sense for a rental as it’s easily cleaned but some more rugs would be great to make it feel more cosy - some rooms, especially the living room, feels a little bit bare. Bathroom lock is broken and came off in my hand, thankfully nobody got locked in but it could very easily happen. Shower door becomes loose so have to be very careful when using it. A plug socket in the room with the cot only allows you to plug something in one half of it. The snags are very minor compared to how stunning the house is and I did get a good deal for January, however if I were to book here for our summer trip over to Ireland I would be looking at £800 where I would expect these issues to not be here. I booked this house with short notice due to having to travel to Ireland for a family funeral. The house was ideal for me, my husband, and my siblings and their partners. The house was very spacious, great size driveway and garden with great views. Ideal location for where we had to go. The house was also clean and we received great service from the owner who kept in touch with us. Already looking at booking again for next year

Location is great. Beside Spar shop with ATM. 5 min walk into town. Very clean house. Great views from garden. All mod cons also and WIFI signal was perfect. No issues. Big space for parking too.

It is maybe a little bit pricey. It could maybe do with knocking £10 off the price as it is all self-service but otherwise, no complaints.
