GBTina was a lovely host and always available with any queries. There was everything you could ever need in the property, including games, books etc. Barry our dog enjoyed the treats that Tina left for him and we enjoyed the bottle of red wine. Would certainly recommend xx
AUTina has thought of everything that could be needed to make guests feel completely at home. Travelling solo and staying for only one night, I did not need the kitchen facilities, cooking etc. but I think for a family over a few days it is a perfect place. Dave, the manager of the apartment met me on arrival and was great, very helpful and showed me through the home. The location is very good, if you have a car and parking was available. Dave popped back in the morning around check out time, to make sure everything had been good. Highly recommend!
The only thing is the apartment is hard to find in the dark, which was when I arrived. The houses in the "place" all look the same, especially in the snow, and the streets all have the same name, so finding the correct building number was difficult. Luckily, Dave spotted me in the car googling the address and came over to ask if I was the booking looking to check in. More signage and larger numbers on the property may be the solution.

The water pressure was slow, making shower not too good.
NLHost had send us very clear directions to get to the apartment and the welcome is very warm - a complementary bottle of wine and some cookies. The apartment in itself was nice and clean. Everything you need is there (including washer and dryer but unfortunately without dishwasher). Kitchen is quite complete for cooking your meal and there is a big fridge to store your food and drinks.
The apartment does not have a balcony/garden and the location is not all great. The kitchen equipment suffices for 2 persons but not really anything spare. The 'dining room' table (basically just the table) is quite small - even for only 2 persons. All appliances were switched off which is a bit of a nuisance especially the shower heating (though it was clearly explained in the guest info booklet).

AUIt was so nice to have some space after our 30something hours of air travel from Australia. The hosts were very welcoming and even left us some Scottish goodies to enjoy during our stay. The flat is well positioned in a quiet area, but very walkable to all the attractions of Fort Augustus and Loch Ness. It felt like staying at a friends home.
