Villa Dandan Bukit

Our stay in Villa Dandan Bukit has been amazing. A special spot in Bali surrounded with nature and peace. Arya, the villa manager, is super attentive and breakfasts are delicious. We also learned more about balinese culture and activities to do thanks to him. Thank you for making our trip so fantastic!

Great pool!

Bring your own towels and blankets - - the ones at the villa are terrible. The blankets are itchy and towels are threadbare. No mats to dry your feet after the pool so careful on the very slippery stairs! Also there's a idr200,000/child surcharge which is crazy for a 2 year old!

We did like basically only the swimmingpool. Unfortunately we had a heavy rain when we arrived,we got help from the staff to get inside the Villa. The other morning some of us could try the swimmingpool.

The rooms have very strong smell. The blanket is basically a big piece of towel. My kids wanted to watch some tv (because the weather condition was not good) but it was not working. Facilities are poor. I could not warm up the milk for my kids in microwave beacuse it was super dirty and mouldy inside. The breakfast was very poor as well. Restaurants, even warungs are quiet far. No shops around as well,so if you get there in the afternoon and you just want to rest then be prepared with food. We felt like "sleeping" next to a lake what was full of frogs...they are crazy loud in the night. Probably this is all we can get for this cheap price.

The villa is beautiful with lots of nice details and located in a quiet spot surrounded by nature. The person who administers the villa is incredibly kind and helpful, going out of his way to make us feel welcome and understand their culture. Also, he makes really killer breakfasts

It takes a bit of driving to get to and from the villa

The villa is absolutely beautiful, located in a small village surrounded by lovely rice terraces, palm trees, colorful flowers. Quite idyllic!. We really enjoyed the large pool, which was very well maintained and clean. Nice bedrooms, lots of space...great for a family or group of friends. The host is exceptional: friendly, helpful in meeting all of our needs. He also provides transportation and tour guide services and is very knowledgeable about the area.

The villa is quite far from shops and restaurants, but this is balanced by the beauty of the location. There are lots of chairs, but not so comfortable for sitting.

Home cooked pancake and omelette. Thanks Arya for fetching us from the previous hotel and driving us around various locations like a local guide during the stay. Arya speaks very good english and takes good pictures and video too.
