Holy City Bungalow

The bungalow was perfect for the two of us. We each had our own queen size bed in our own rooms. The historic house was modernized and updated with a contemporary style. Everything we needed was provided for us including linens and kitchen items.

We liked everything.

The location was pretty close to downtown. House was decorated super cute and stocked with necessities. We loved the record player. The bed was super comfortable as well. Great host!

Holy City Bungalow was absolutely perfect! Very easy to find, conveniently located near the highway, and the neighborhood was peaceful. The house was comfortable, clean, and we felt right at home. This was the first time we’ve gotten to take our dog on vacation with us and we felt very safe letting her run and play in the fenced in yards! We would definitely stay here again! The hosts were very responsive and I’m sure if we had needed anything they would haven taken care of it right away.

Good location, now I wasn't worried about it, but the girls we traveled with didn't like Bid Daddy's Deals. It's a corner store and it's well lite. the gated yard for this place with the dog and the dog bowls provided was a nice touch. Record player and speakers got us through the night playing dominos in the dining area. Kitchen had enough stuff that we were able to cook crab cakes and shrimp without too much trouble for 'needing' pots, pans, etc. Coffee maker worked! now if you use drip coffee bring some filters or shoot down to Big Daddy's for some deals on'em. Quite place all around. easy access to drive down to city as well. 30 minutes to Folly.

Shower currently just needs the drain cleared or perhaps it's a product of something else, but water accumulated a bit. Coffee mugs there were only 3 and so for couples just 1 more would do it. I'm sure one broke at some visit, but yeah scratching the bottom for negatives. Maybe if you don't like deals Big Daddy's will be a turn-off.

Clean & Comfortable

A grill would have been nice.

It was our 1st time staying in a house. We usually stay at a hotel. I loved it. It was clean and the yard was taken care of.

It was a little farther from places we went to, but everything worked out fine. We just did a lot of driving. 😊

Super cute. I loved this place. The backyard was spacious and the house was very pet friendly.
