Location!

De locatie van dit prachtige oude gebouw uit 1790 was perfect. Midden in het centrum van Buxton. 4 zeer ruime slaapkamers en op de bovenverdieping een woonkamer en keuken. Zelfs parkeren lukte hier goed. De host stond op het afgesproken tijdstip te wachten met de sleutel.

Sehr gute Lage, sehr schöne Einrichtung und Ausstattung. Eigene Wohnung mit großzügigen Zimmern

Keine direkte Anreise mit Auto möglich. Öffentlicher Parkplatz ist aber nicht weit entfernt. Der Eingang zum Apartment liegt im 1. Stock, erreichbar über ein schmales Treppenhaus. Mit viel Gepäck eine Herausforderung.

Great price and property

Spacious 3 double bedrooms, and lounge/diner area. Kitchen had cooker/washing machine/dishwasher/ microwave and big fridge freezer. Comfy new mattresses on bed, although frames a bit squeaky. Pleasant decor to bedrooms and lounge. TV via wifi only but worked well Good sized shower & plenty of hot water

leaking boiler causing damp to surrounding area, and musty smell/damp on arrival. Had been leaking for some time without being resolved. Kitchen waste water downpipes (outside back of property) missing so water free falling down to ground wetting wall. 13 uneven stone steps to get to property but good sturdy hand rail helped. No handrail for internal stair case. Cooking equipment minimal and might be pushed to cook from scratch for 6 adults. Fire alarm not activated. Plastic tab still in place that prevents battery powering the unit. Bathroom could do with curtain at the window for when using the bath. Entrance to the car parking area is via very narrow entrance - put your wing mirrors in!

There was nothing I disliked.

Amazing accommodation, everywhere was so clean and comfortable. The rooms were all lovely and warm Jon was really friendly and welcoming. Really central location and super comfy beds.
