River Castle Central Verona

We booked this accommodation to attend the Fred Again concert. It is in the city centre and has the most wonderful restaurant next door. Gaetano was extremely welcoming and on disposition for whatever we needed. The apartment is really cute and more than enough for two people. We felt cozy and managed to rest well.

I celebrated my birthday weekend in Verona, and staying in the River Castle Central Verona was a great choice! The location is very central - it is very close to some of the main sights in town, bars, restaurants, shops and other facilities are a few steps away (and I highly recommend trying the osteria located on the same street as the property - we had a great experience there). The parking was easy; we parked in the streets around the hotel, and could always manage to find some place available even during the peak season (street parking is paid). The property itself is exactly as you see in the pictures - it has all the necessary amenities, it was tidy and very well arranged. The host was very kind and communication was extremely fast and smooth. We had a really awful accident, breaking one of the keys, but the host was very kind and didn't mind this, immediately offering a solution. In addition, we were allowed to leave our bags after the check-in which was also a very helpful additional service. As such, the overall experience was very positive and I highly recommend chosing this property!

Die Lage ist gut, nur 10-15 Minuten von der Arena entfernt, nicht weit von der Etsch und dem Castelvecchio im Viertel San Zeno. Hier kann man abends auch gut essen gehen. Der Gastgeber ist freundlich und gibt gute Tipps. Die Klimaanlage war sehr hilfreich.

Die Wohnung liegt sehr gedrängt hinten in einem hohen Gebäude. Der "Innenhof" ist winzig, liegt unterhalb von Balkonen, ist ca. 6qm groß und von hohen Mauern umgeben und führt zum Keller. Durch das Foto bei Booking, welches mitten unter den Wohnungsfotos ist und einen großen begrünten Hof zeigt, könnte man denken, man hätte dazu Zugang und könnte sich raussetzen. Dies ist aber nicht so. Man ist beschränkt auf die Fläche unten ohne Fenster und oben in der durch eine steile Treppe zugänglichen Mezzanine, wo das Bett sehr eng steht, kann man nur im Stehen rausschauen.

Bien situé si on souhaite comme nous être à l’extérieur de l’hyper centre historique (12 min à pied environ), nous avons beaucoup aimé le quartier de l’appartement, très fonctionnel pour un court séjour à 2 ou seul.

La partie chambre était agréable, même si le lit pourrait être plus confortable, et la partie commune ne dispose pas de fenêtre donc est très sombre et moins agréable.

locatie was top en rustig , heel kort bij verschillende eetgelegenheden , supermarkt ,..en de hulp en ondersteuning van Gaetano was enthousiast : in het appartement waren dingen voorzien waar je misschien niet altijd aan denkt zoals bv zitjes voor bij een Arena-voorstelling.

The owner is very kind and polite. Check in and check out procedure is convenient and easy. Sheltered garage is just next to the apartment, very convenient for guests who drives. Very cozy and comfortable loft ,and is very near to the town area just 10minutes walk. Highly recommend in Verona!
