Hideaway Inn Maine

This property was so warm and welcoming. The owners where very friendly and helpful, the interior was so tastefully done yet comfortable, we loved the breakfasts they served as well.

My only suggestions would be to add a latte machine. But having said that the coffee they served was flavorful. Also it would be wonderful to have a Happy Hour/ appetizer time in the afternoon. We were there during the week so they might offer that one the weekend.

Beautiful property and great location. Love the decorating. The Honor Bar and water/ice machine were nice touches. Our king bed was very comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure.Nice Stay but

Compared to other B&Bs, the overall feel was a bit impersonal. We checked in virtually without meeting a staff member. And breakfast was a buffet where we served ourselves. Also there was no daily room cleaning during our three-night stay. Would have liked a room refresh, and a more personal touch.

Loved the location as it was easy to walk to shopping, the marina and restaurants. Also liked that there was plenty of free parking and a great breakfast.

Our unit had very steep stairs to get to the first level and another set of steep stairs to get to the second level.

We are well travelled and we can affirm that this property and its owners are exceptional. Clean, tastefully furnished - a pleasure to stay there. Really first class. The breakfast is excellent and the bedroom was very comfortable. The owners were friendly and passionate about what they have created. The property is in a quiet street, within easy walking distance of the centre. We will stay again.
