GBLovely old fashioned Ryokan. The staff and the owner are exceptional and speaks English. The meals were delicious.
Some areas are pretty old, though this can add to the character.
AUAbsolutely stunning location and very helpful staff. Breakfast was a masterpiece.
JPThe landlady showed me where to visit in the area (Aso) on the day I checked in, which was very helpful! Her hand-written map of the Kurogawa Onsen with colorful illustrations was also useful when strolling the town. The place was clean, cozy and has both inside and outside baths (roten buro) which is open 6:00 to 23:00. Nothing to complain. Thank you so much for your hospitality. You made my stay very memorable!
