ATThe stuff doesn't speak english for every question you have to face time with there daughter. It was Freezing cold and we got one thin blanket. In front of the window there is a wall 30 cm away. Breakfast is a banh mi from the neighbours bakery and a small bottle of water, coffee/ tea costs extra. The room looks as if it has been empty for a while. No space

Breakfast is basic - pork or egg Banh Mi, Banana and Water (but fresh from the bakery so very nice) and people often smoking outside.

No reception during the night, but the owner came within five minutes. Shower was a bit weak. Don’t confuse the hotel with Central Backpackers Hostel.
GBStaff were really nice, and they FaceTimed daughter to make English translation easier. Room is basic. They let me use the bike to get to the duck stop (bit of a cycle away). Overall it was fine for an overnight stay in phong Nha.
