Couldn't fault a thing. Paul was so warm and welcoming and the staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The food was incredible with every course beautifully presented. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

Relaxed atmosphere, historic splendour, lush grounds. As a car enthusiast I enjoyed the impressive car display at the front door and reading the book on the Wonder of Wales car rally.

A couple of minor details: the bathroom hot water was lukewarm on the Saturday night but had recovered by Sunday morning; the breakfast tea bags in the room were only decaffeinated (or Earl Grey) on the Sunday morning.

"we enjoyed our stay. the breakfast and evening meal certain foods were completley over cooked."

poor bacon was hard , fresh fruit salad bland no red fruit. no hot water given with our tea. evening meal potatoe wedges were awful completley over cooked. no garnish or vegtables with the steak , not informed to order side dishes.
