The most amazing couple of days from start to finish… food, staff, room, the hotel grounds everything was perfect.

Christmas decorations just finished. And continuous smell of woodsmoke from all the fires

Everything about it is great from the decoration, food and staff. MADD to feel very welcome as was our dog.

It is quite noisy late at night and early morning due to music travelling through the walls.

Beautiful journey to the hotel - thanks to an excellent member of staff we managed to make the very tasty ‘tea’ ! Exciting loos and a very generous/dynamic owner who very kindly upgraded us to a suite 😃

The original bedroom was a tad old fashioned

Palé Hall is an absolute dream. Its idyllic location and exquisitely designed interior create an atmosphere of pure tranquillity and elegance. I recently enjoyed a two-night stay with my 94-year-old father, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care we received. From the concierge to the restaurant team, housekeeping, reception—every single member of staff went above and beyond to support both my dad and myself. Their professionalism, warmth, and immaculate presentation were truly outstanding, and the level of service was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble, and the genuine kindness shown made our stay unforgettable. I was genuinely sad to leave, and we are already looking forward to our next visit. Palé Hall is a rare gem, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

A fabulous building, and staff were excellent.

Our bedroom and the dining room were a little cold. The hot water in the bathroom basin was not hot enough (shower was fine) The live music I found too loud and would have preferred the violinist to stay out of the dinning room.
