"If I were to go back, I wouldn't bother looking at other listings."

We liked the location: it is in a quiet town, with multiple supermarkets, a train station as well as a quiet park with a cafe within walking distance. Ljubljana is nearby, reachable within half an hour by train (which itself is very, very cheap). The apartment itself was well-furnished and has a sunny patio, which we liked a lot. The host is really nice (and speaks perfect English!)

Grasping at straws, but the internet didn't quite reach to aforementioned patio.
