The Nice Apartment

Communication was excellent. No problem with directions or our later than planned arrival. Code box was used for everyone's convenience. On initial entry that place was great! Just as pictured. However after closer inspection...we started to notice things.

The first red flag was the hole in the fitted sheet. The second was the unmade second bed. ( Full disclosure I did not request that the second bed be made up.) We looked for extra sheets, but found none. What we did find were other people's clothes..someone was living there. After that we really had a look around. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. The place really did need a good clean. Made contact and was assured things would be put in order. It was explained to us that a replacement cleaner was used and no one checked to see if standards were met. We were no longer comfortable staying here and left to seek an alternative stay. After securing a new place, we returned to find a cleaner (as promised) . Further discussion with the cleaner, pointing out all our concerns, she contacted the owner. I also texted him. I explained all of our finds, sent photos, expressed that in no certain terms were we staying here and requested an immediate refund which we did receive with no argument. I wish the owner success as this could be a lovely apartment. It's too bad there is no care or attention in welcoming guests. For a successful stay, sheets with no holes, extra towels for an 8 day stay, a bathroom that didn't smell musty, dishes that were clean, and a floor that didn't leave your white socks brown would be needed. This is not our experience with this place.

Lovely place to stay near Ljubljana. Everything you need and with 2 parking spaces. Well equiped and a very big TV. Dominique was really friendly and helped us with anything we needed. We recommend it to everyone, you will like it for shure.

We thought privacy could be improved specially in the main entrance near kitchen

Everything in the apartment is new and renovated, except the shower. The host was really friendly and on service. He brought us a vacuum cleaner after we asked for one, to clean the apartment a little bit.

Apartment was not very clean. The shower is not working properly. Kitchen is not well equipped. We did not know that the apartment is below ground level.

Host was lovely! There were a couple of things that needed sorting which they were very quick to reply about and great to message. Perfect location near to where my family live so was ideal. Also...the bed in the bedroom was the most comfortable I've slept on in Slovenia! My family there have very hard beds so this was great!! Will definitely stay again if its available next time :)

I had wrongly assumed it was 2 bedroom but it wasn't a problem. There was a small issue with shower and heating but was resolved and easy to communicate.
