Views are great lovely staff and rooms are nice and clean Every thing is properly managed lawns are beautiful

Location it’s 9 km from Munnar town and it takes roughly 30 minutes if you are here for staycation it’s perfect but if you are here to visit places it’s a difficult thing to cross this path again and again and it’s risky to go out in car at night time because of mist and wild animals and if you are a hardcore vegetarian who doesn’t eat in veg/non veg restaurant came prepared as there is nothing pure veg near by

The excellent service by the entire resort staff especially the restaurant staff helped us feel like home. Hats off to chef shyam, Tiju and Manager Bobin for their genuine service.

Our group of three families chose Le Montfort in Munnar based on excellent online reviews, and after spending two nights there, it is safe to say the experience exceeded our expectations. We truly did not feel like leaving. The rooms were well-appointed, and the overall ambience of the resort was exceptional. The breathtaking views absolutely live up to the hype and are a highlight of the stay. The valley view, combined with the constantly shifting mist, created an almost surreal experience. At any given moment, anywhere you looked felt like a perfect frame for a photograph. The property is family-friendly and designed for all age groups. The kids had a fantastic time enjoying the football turf, cricket nets, pool table, carroms and much more while the younger ones were equally entertained with the trampoline and play area. The infinity pool (though not temp controlled), set against the stunning backdrop, was an experience. Another highlight was the staff guided early morning trek through the tea plantations, which added a refreshing and authentic touch to our visit. Given how challenging it can be to navigate Munnar traffic during peak season, we chose to stay within the resort for the entire duration - and honestly, we did not feel like we missed out on anything. The resort itself offered more than enough to keep us engaged, relaxed, and immersed in the experience. Although the dining is on the slightly expensive side, the food quality was excellent and consistent, leaving nothing to complain about. The staff were courteous, attentive and always prompt in addressing any requests including a room upgrade for the 2nd night (on our request at extra cost). Overall, Le Montfort is a perfect blend of comfort, scenic beauty, and thoughtful amenities. It is an ideal choice for families looking to unwind without having to venture out much. Highly recommended - this is one place in Munnar we would gladly return to.

The property is beautiful, but the stay experience had several shortcomings. I paid around 12k for a very small room, and it felt quite uncomfortable due to the lack of AC and proper ventilation. Unless the door is kept open, the room becomes very hot and feels congested and claustrophobic. The bathroom cleanliness could also have been much better.

If you like remote and peaceful hotels (we do), this is it. Beautiful interior design. Small playground, indoor pool table and sporty activities available. Service was great!

Only certain rooms have AC and I found the information about this on booking.com a bit misleading as it says under “general information” that they have AC without any limitation and I didn’t check it any further in the room categories, which was then my mistake. Nevertheless they were very accommodating and organised other rooms for us (at extra charge).
