The location was very close to the centre

The place was not clean, the whole property needs a deep clean or end of tenancy clean. There are splatters and marks all over the bedroom walls. I used bleach to clean the doors and door handles as there were unknown substances on both. The last night of my stay there was a bad storm and the external door in my bedroom opened at the top. The door could not be closed, and even with a chair wedged against it. I had to sleep with the door ajar when it was 3 degrees outside with 60 mile an hour winds. I complained to Booking.com but have not received any compensation for this, only an apology for the inconvenience.

Great location, 2 minutes wall from the centre highstreet.

At first glance seems cleaner than it is. Hand marks over bedroom walls and cupboards. Sticky glasses and dishes left in cupboards. Rubbish left outside. Toilet cistern on show. Uncomfortable squeaky beds with tiny duvets. Flush on main toilet didn't work properly. Dirty carpet in bedrooms, stained. Luckily we only stayed 2 nights and it was only to sleep at night as out most of the 2 days. Would of wanted it to be kept better if it was for a longer stay.
