La ubicación es muy buena, la habitación es grande.

El personal habla muy poco inglés. No tiene aire acondicionado. No nos dieron jabón y solo nos dieron una toalla para tres días. Tampoco nos ayudaron con un guía ni nos dieron indicaciones para prácticamente nada.

We stayed for a couple of nights at Monton guesthouse and it‘s a very convenient and comfortable place. The main street of Rantepao is within walking distance, so is the nearby market street. You can easily start tours around the Tana Toraja area from there and the friendly owners are always ready to help.

Just bear in mind that the nearby church starts to play prayers early in the morning (so bring ear plugs) and the bathrooms come without a door (depending on how comfortable you are with your travel companion this might be an issue). Overall totally recommendable!

Noise outside in the early morning

Ja, die Zimmer sind einfach aber haben alles was man braucht und alles ist sauber!! Die Besitzer sind unglaublich nett, haben mich morgens um 5:30 Uhr einchecken lassen, mir spontan einen Guide organisiert, und mir einen Bus gebucht und mich sogar zur Haltestelle gebracht. Das Frühstück war absolut ausreichend! Ich würde es zu 100% empfehlen!

Es wird tagsüber sehr warm im Zimmer und es gibt nur einen sehr kleinen Ventilator. Aber man ist ja tagsüber eh unterwegs und kann abends gut lüften!!

Great place! Owners are very friendly and helpful. The location is also great, quiet part of the city. Breakfast is simple but enough, warm showers. Do recommend!

Gute Lage, man kann alles wichtige zu Fuß erreichen. Rundum-Balkone mit Blick auf die Berge und jedes Zimmer hat zwei bequeme Sitzmöglichkeiten auf dem Balkon.
