Sawah Sebatu Villa

Great place to enjoy your holiday. Everything was great, the place was really clean compared with others stays in Bali. The pool was also clean and everything looks exactly like in the pictures. Yovita was really helpful and so kind, she made sure that our stay will be great. Definitely coming back when in Bali.

Our stay at Sawah Sabute Village was simply amazing! From the moment we arrived, we felt the warmth and hospitality of a real family. The house, built by the father, reflects care and dedication in every detail. The mother delighted us with her delicious cooking, and the daughter went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, always with a smile and so much love. This is truly a family-run business built with heart. The food was exceptional – homemade, flavorful, and prepared with care. Everything was impeccably clean and smelled wonderful, showing their attention to detail in providing the best for their guests. The location is a dream: surrounded by breathtaking rice terraces that look like they belong on a postcard. Although it’s about a 20-minute scooter ride from Ubud’s center, it was the perfect choice for us. After a day of exploring Bali, all we wanted was a peaceful, private place away from the city noise to unwind – and this was exactly what we found. For nature lovers, it’s the best place to stay. We wholeheartedly recommend it and hope to return someday!

The villa was beautiful, clean and surrounded by gorgeous rice fields. The pool was also lovely and clean. The service provided by Yovita was exceptional! She was so attentive and friendly, always happy to help with anything!

This isn’t an issue with the property itself but more of a warning for travellers, the town of Sebatu has signs everywhere saying that online rideshare (Grab, Uber etc) is not allowed in the town to “support local drivers”. This is off putting because using online rides is safer for travellers and also prevents taxi overcharging. There’s not a whole lot to do in the town so eventually you will need transport to go out and about, so you can either rent a scooter or get an expensive taxi. It’s unfortunate because it’s a beautiful spot really but definitely something to consider.

The location was simply awesome, peaceful, quiet and quaint. The private villa, with private pool was picture perfect I would be hard pressed to find anything that could have made it better. The daily breakfast delivered to our room was an unexpected treat. The honest Yovi was unbelievable, she made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and throughout our stay. I travel a lot and I have never been treated as well as I was at Sawah Sebatu. It is truly a hidden gem

There was absolutely nothing I didn't like Sawah Sebatu. Getting there from the Airport is a long interesting drive through some very narrow roads but well worth it. I strongly suggest you hire a local experience driver and if possible plan to arrive before dark so you don't miss anything along the way.

Absolutely everything! This place is a hidden gem and the staff working there are jewels! The villa is beautiful, well-equipped, it is spotless clean and the bed is very confortable. The environment is very quiet so it's perfect for a relaxing holiday, only 30mn away from the noisy streets of Ubud. You're near all the important attractions the area has to offer though, so the location is very convenient. You can eat directly in your villa as there is a restaurant, which is very good. And you can also rent a scooter for a very good price. We also had a balinese massage and it was absolutely divine! We can't thank enough Yovi and the rest of the staff for their kindness and their outstanding professionalism, you made our stay at Sebatu Villa just more than perfect! I hope we will come back to Bali and we will make sure to stay again at your place!
