Nirvana Coastal Retreat Holiday Home

This place is fantastic. I have never stayed in self-catering accommodation that has been so well equipped, from the utensils in the kitchen to the cupboard of 'essentials' like salt and pepper, some coffee and tea bags. There is handwash at each sink, washing up liquid, etc. The plug sockets have USB sockets built in. The master bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe stocked with loads of spare towels and bedding. Bathroom is roomy and incredibly well stocked with loo roll. There's even a shower head you can attach to the kitchen tap and feed out of the kitchen window so you can wash your dogs down after a trip to the beach. So comfortable, so well maintained, and a great plot, too with a car parking space right outside. We didn't want to leave.

The grass outside was really muddy, so the dogs had muddy paws every time we came back in. Not the owner's issue, but just a reminder to dog owners visiting in wet weather to have a towel ready to wipe their mucky paws. It certainly wasn't anything that would put us off revisiting.

Loved how comfy and snuggly the beds were, so soft and we had such good sleep on them. Whole place was comfortable and homey. Our kids felt at ease straight away in there.

There was a spot of dog dirt left out on the balcony, but it was hardly noticeable, just a tiny blip. Everything else was spotless when we arrived!

Close proximity to the beach and surfing. Very good public transport to Scarborough City. Parking adjacent to the caravan. Helpful staff in Reception.

The cost of passes for three-night stay.

Nirvana is an absolutely beautiful caravan on a lovely Parkdean site. The caravan itself is gorgeous - fabulously comfortable bed, great lounge, kitchen with all amenities, and best shower ever! The location is absolutely brilliant, we stopped at the local farm shop on route for breakfast items, then enjoyed an easy travel to Scarborough, Whitby, Bridlington and Filey. The site is absolutely fabulous for families - so many activities for children including swimming (with water slides!) and an amazing high ropes course, and super VR experiences in the park arcades. The onsite food facilities and shop also ensure everyone is well-fed if needed!

OK, so we are a couple and (thankfully) my daughter is at an age where she is able to stay home and look after the cat (or vice-versa..). ....so sadly we felt we weren't able to make best use of the facilities on site. For me, the swimming pool was not ideal. However, fortunately Nirvana provides kettlebells, and is ideally situated for lovely morning runs, and there are some fabulous leisure centres nearby.

Perfect location on the site with private parking. The place was clean and well equipped with all the necessary things we needed during our stay. The beds were comfy and ideal after long days out. Its perfect for a family of 4 and the balcony was a really good to sit and put our feet up and watch the world go by. Will be booking again but for longer, 5 days wasn’t enough.

I can not find a fault, it tick all the boxes.

Everything was amazing and the attention to detail was excellent 👌 Everything you could possibly want from a caravan holiday and as a brilliant bonus you are supporting an excellent cause by staying here so win win 🙌 also I love the metal cups in the caravan 😁

Myself & my daughter (10) had a great week & didn't want to leave, very homey with everything you need, kitchen facilities were great, comfy beds, good shower & sarah the host was excellent helped with any issues we had.
