The Highland Drove

The location was near to where we were having a night out.

We thought the facilities in the room did not reflect the price. Unfortunately we did not spend the night here as we had to return home due to a family emergency so we cannot comment on the breakfast or bed.

VERY FRIENDLY PUB. Served food until 4 pm on a Sunday which was v useful on a Bank Holiday Good wholesome breakfast.

Was a bit pricey for facilities but it was a Bank Holiday. Plug sockets thin on the ground and nowhere to rest things when you were charging so hanging from cord. Door to bathroom needs planing down as sticky.

Excellent food and great bar and atmosphere

Location was good . Staff friendly .

The bedroom was cold despite an electric oil heater . The toilet flush mad a lot noise . The downstairs was cool too as the boiler hadn’t been serviced in time for season .

Very tasty. Hot. Good choices. Veggy sausage was lovely.

Staff and locals were very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was outstanding, the whole place was beautifully clean and very wonderfully updated. Great shower!

The king size bed was two singles pushed together, no drama for a couple of nights though, everything else made up for it. Would definitely stay again.
