Măng Đen Discovery Homestay

Location, wooden styling, good value for money. The bed was fine. Nice trees around the road. Good for photos.

I expected to get a private room with a private bathroom, but somehow I ended up with a bunk in a dorm room (nobody else there, but the room style was different from my expectation), and the toilet and shower was in the common area (need to put shoes on and go through a section of wet floor if it rains). Quite cold, no heating, wooden door that barely closed (rustic homemade style, with holes between the planks and no bracing, so it didn't hold shape and scraped the floor, no handle nor lock). No food nor laundry service, had to go to the town for everything, and by 8 PM most of the town was asleep already (places closed when according to opening hours on Google Maps should have been open) - I guess I was there off season.

Quiet town but accomodation within walking distance of a few bars/restaurants. Staff spoke good English and were v helpful re local facilities
