The Shepherds Neuk

The Shepherds Neuk is a little gem in the highlands. Cozy, welcoming and comfortable, inside there is all you need. It has been a lovely stay, very much recommended.

The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! The secure garden was excellent for the dog. It was very quaint and very well equipped. Had everything you need and then some!

Perfect starting point for NC500. Bed was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a one night stay. Had our dog with us and had a completely enclosed garden so he was very safe.

Being very picky, the hot water pressure. But weak but still managed a nice enough shower.

Fabulously kitted out accommodation. Everything we needed for a one nigbt stop was there from tea, coffee and milk to shower gel and very comfortable bed after a long drive! Totally dog friendly with an enclosed garden. The log burner was amazing! What a little gem!

We absolutely loved everything about this place. It was so comfortable, cosy and offered everything you'd ever need for a night away and more! We somehow managed to lock ourselves out and had to disturb the owner at a very unreasonable time but she was fantastic and very kind about it, so if you're reading this, thank you and sorry! We would absolutely recommend the Shepherds Neuk to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to return ourselves. Thank you for a lovely stay

Loved waking up early, making a fire in the wood stove (perfectly seasoned firewood, so burnt beautifully) and getting back into bed with a cuppa. The inspired interior is a feast for the eyes, with lots of quirky touches and detail everywhere. The Neuk is well equipped with everything you would need. Bed very cozy and shower, even though electric, is very decent indeed. And Sue was a wonderfully welcoming host.

Didn't like leaving! It is the very definition of the Scots word Coorie, meaning to nestle and snuggle.

This is such an amazing place, everything is well thought and beautiful. The bathroom is a bit small but practical We loved our stay there, with great view of the mountains 😊
