Turiya Villa Sanur

Having two private villas with a private pool. Great for families or two couples. Cooking facilities were handy although the stove didnt work! A filtered bottled water fridge was appreciatedto fill up our watwr bottles each day. The washing machine was great. The staff were friendly and polite. The cleaner did a fabulous job considering the run down state of the property.

I dont usually write bad reviews but I feel I need to be honest for the next people considering staying here. The property is very run down. Had I have known the true condition of the property, I would not have booked to stay here. The smaller villa ceiling leaks badly and water was running down the walls in the bedroom and bathroom. The walls were consequently mouldy, smelly and slimy. This villa should not be used until the mould and leaks are safely fixed. The main villa bedroom has gaps about 1 inch wide along the doors where the glass has dropped down allowing mosquitoes inside. The gas cooker didnt work and the front door has a 1 inch gap through the centre of the door so you can see straight in to the property. As the property is amongst private residential properties, the neighbours border the villa on all sides. The property directly behind is building a two storey house on the fence line which looks directly in to the ensuite. (See pics) The workers could see in to the ensuite while we were using it. We raised these issues with management but nothing was done about it during our stay making the ensuite unusable and second villa horrible to stay in.

Close to town

Aircon in main living area to small for size of room, struggled to keep up. Main door would not stay closed unless locked from the inside locking others out easy fix. Setee to big/wide to seat on more off a day bed so not great for just sitting. Suggestion would be very good if doors could be locked from inside without keys.

Clean and safe. Great air conditioning. Mosquito nets on bed. Short walk to attractions.

Requires maintenance of bifold doors. Nighttime around the villa is safe but dogs can be a problem if you’re on your own.

Beautiful villa with an amazing pool.

A little bit far to walk to shops restaurants especially in the heat with little ones. Taxis were cheap tho.

Location, although we enjoy walking, it was a bit of a journey everytime you wanted a drink, meal, coffee, beach.

Komang literally lives next door so it was handy if we needed assistance with anything, he was so helpful. There was daily housekeeping, she refilled all the coils, towels etc. The villa is extremely quiet and private, very large in space, and a short 10 minute walk to shops and restaurants. Photos were exactly how it was, we will definitely come back!
