The noise of doors — always banging No cooking facilities as such although there is microwave. We should have been more organised first night!

We were travelling around Scotland for 2 weeks, booking a night as we went. This place sounded different, so thought we would give it a go. We were not disappointed. We needed a little help working out how to access the building but it really was easy. Our room was just what was needed for one night. Clean beds, clean bathroom. The shared kitchen was brilliant. A fridge to put anything you needed in. There is a microwave. Help yourself to tea, coffee, sugar, milk. All cutlery, cups, glasses, plates, dishes, are provided. All that is asked is you clear away, wash your pots and put them away after yourself. There is no TV. Phone signal could be a little hit and miss, but you could get WIFI. A fantastic place just to switch off. The place is in darkness in the evening till day light. Very little light pollution. Just loved it. We didn't use the restaurant in the evening. You had to book and it was only open 5-6pm, but we booked a breakfast. Cereals, toast, croissants (warm), pastries, boiled eggs , cold meats, milks of different kinds, teas, coffee, fruit juices. Just fantastic. The visitors centre is adjacent to the restaurant which explains what the centre is all about and what it aims to do. Very interesting. I guess you can say that we really loved it here. You can walk around outside. Watch the birds and other wildlife. I was lucky enough to see a Woodpecker outside our window. A place to shut off, even for just one night. If we ever head up this way again we would stay again.

There isn't anything I can say that was a dislike. Just ask my Husband, I am not always an easy person to please. :-)

Quartos espaçosos. Camas grandes. Muoto facil a entrada com as keycard, sem espera ou burocracia. Com estacionamento gratuito do alojamento.

O amboente do quarto estava gelado, com a janela aberta às 22h00 quando entramos. E o aquecimento estava desligado.
