The location was nice. That’s it!

It was extremely overcrowded. People were continuously fighting over the elevator. There was no room service /cleaning for a 7 night stay! The breakfast that was “included” was disgusting. Some days the breakfast didn’t even show up. They only gave one set of towels even though I asked for more after 2 days . They ignore my request. We had a washing machine in the room but we had no place to hang wet items up. Only one roll of toilet paper for 7 nights.

1 out of 10 This was the worst experience I’ve ever had on Booking.com. I booked a 3-night stay at Orbi City (Office 27, Room 15) and was told breakfast was included. Even before I arrived, the host insisted on cash payment only and told me to come directly to his private office instead of the main reception — which already seemed suspicious. When I arrived, I met a man who spoke fluent Turkish (⚠️ be aware — he uses the language to gain your trust!). He asked to check my booking and took my phone into his hands. Later, I discovered that my reservation was tampered with — it had been changed from 3 nights to just 1, and a second booking was created under my name without my knowledge or permission. Later that same day, a Russian man came to my room shouting and threatening me, claiming the apartment was his and that I hadn’t paid. Even though I had paid, he still demanded $300 in cash and threatened to throw my luggage out. I was terrified and had no choice but to withdraw the money from a nearby ATM and give it to him. He refused local currency and insisted on USD. Even worse, both men clearly knew each other — they laughed and shook hands after the incident like nothing happened. After leaving Georgia and arriving in Turkey, I was shocked to find two unauthorized charges from the same property on my bank card — around 1000 SAR and 180 SAR. And despite staying all 3 nights and paying everything, they marked me as a “no-show” on Booking.com — probably to justify double charging. Also, there was no breakfast at all as they promised — just another lie. 📌 I have full evidence: photos, receipts, WhatsApp conversations, ATM withdrawal proof, and screenshots of the fraudulent activity. This was my first visit to Batumi. Although the city is beautiful, this experience completely ruined it for me. Do NOT book here. This is an organized scam targeting tourists. 🚨 I have already submitted an official complaint to Booking.
