The apartment is decent, but the pictures look much better than it really is. Many things are not in good repair. Broken towel rocks in the bathroom, bathroom door doesn’t close no waist paper baskets in the bathroom, no ice trays, peeling chipping paint on the ceiling, WiFi is not great, water in bathroom sink does not go down, very noisy from apartment upstairs.
USLocation, location, location! Beautiful place, very clean and pretty. Well stocked with basic supplies. Antonio was a wonderful host, very responsive to our questions. Gave good restaurant recommendations.
USI love the convenience of the location!!! We found grocery stores and wine stores! Antonio was always checking on us to see how we were doing!
The walls are very thin so we could hear people talking and moving around.
AUSweet Love Varenna is perfectly situated near restaurants, the train station, and the ferry terminal. There’s a small grocery shop close by, too. In the evenings, a short walk takes you to Lake Como, where you can enjoy stunning sunset views. Our host, Antonio, was very communicative; when we faced a minor issue during our stay, he quickly responded and resolved it. Highly recommend!
The only issue we encountered was that, although it was listed as a two-bedroom apartment, the downstairs bed is more like a studio setup that opens to the kitchen, providing limited privacy.

USThe apartment was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Alberto was incredibly helpful, promptly providing all the information I needed and quickly responding to any questions I had. I would definitely rent this place again in the future. The location is fantastic — just a short walk to the station and very close to the lake.
