The apartment itself is very clean, spacious and stocked with plenty of kitchen utensils. It's also nicely furnished. The owner is also very responsive and helpful. The location is very close to the old town. It's relatively quiet, which is super rare in Sicily.

Like most apartments we have stayed in Sicilian, it's in an ugly neighborhood with a lot of trash on the street. The apartment is not well insulated and we could feel the wind inside the apartment. The electricity died at least once a day even though we were not using many devices simultaneously. We had to go downstairs to flip the switch every time the electricity was gone. Of course all these were not the host's fault at all but the property's. The hot water is limited, not enough for two people to take a shower. The boiler is leaking with a bucket below to catch the drip, which makes annoying noise.

The apartment is so beautiful, comfortable and spacious. It was equipped with absolutely everything we could ask for. Samantha is an amazing host and it is clear how much she cares about every detail to make sure that we enjoy our stay. The location was ideal. Ortigia, the archeological park and the bus stop for intercity buses were all close by which was great. We found a great café and piadina place in the surrounding streets. I absolutely recommend this apartment, we had a wonderful stay.

The apartment is very comfortable, nicely decorated and super clean. The location is convenient for exploring the city - especially the old town on Ortigia. Just a 15-minute walk and we found ourselves within the beautiful small streets. Thanks for having us!
