The facilities are nice, and hot water with good shower pressure. Very cute dogs!

Given that I was only here for one night, this may not reflect the full experience — but I got the sense that this place functions more as a restaurant (which occupies the front patio) that happens to have a dorm attached. The staff seemed more focused on the restaurant than on hostel guests. I had to ring the doorbell multiple times for the night receptionist to let me in, and even though I saw him at the front desk, he didn’t get up for several minutes. When I later asked about where to catch a bus to El Salvador, he simply said “I don’t know,” with no offer to help further or ask someone else. The dorm room has a window that looks directly onto the restaurant patio, which made it feel a bit awkward changing while people were having lunch just outside. The surrounding area felt a bit upscale and bar-heavy, which wasn’t really my scene. That said, everything was clean and functional — it’s by no means a bad hostel. I just didn’t really connect with the vibe, though others might!

All good. I had a good time there and especially when Sasha and Theo were around. The hostel serves breakfast everyday and lunch on weekdays (purchase). The food was good and there was plenty. They do provide towels, soap and shampoo. There are curtains in the bed which give you enough privacy. There are also outlets and lights on each bed.

It was not the cleanest location, I saw hand prints in my bed pod and some moldy ceiling

The property is esthetically pleasing, clean, well-maintained and provides food service. There is a pleasing outdoor patio and there are several first-rate restaurants at the nearby intersection. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

No mirror or way to hang clothes in the private room. There was a table, but no chair.
