The Lyttle Cottage

The house was very convenient to the city, and the host was very helpful.

A nice cottage, nice furniture and comfortable beds. Strategic position for those who want to visit the surroundings and plenty of shops and services are just a couple of blocks away. The owner was very kind and helpful.

It has some mold issues in a couple of rooms, one of the cupboards couldn’t be used due to the musty smell. And there’s no dishwasher. But I am giving a high rating as the place is very nice anyway

Comfortable beds, lovely shower, everything you need for a short stay. Bus stop into city centre 2 mins walk away, parking space, close to amenities.

The cottage is great but feels a little like it needs some care and time spent on it. Doesn’t affect the quality of the stay which was exactly what was required.

This quirky wee house is so handy to everything we needed! Its location makes it easy to travel to both Belfast city centre and Carrickfergus, both places we had plans in. It was spotlessly clean, well furnished and had everything we needed for our stay, all topped off with a lovely owner Maura.

Not 1 thing!

The Lyttle Cottage is located in a fantastic part of Belfast. It was close to shops, to the ferry and then to get to beaches and attractions . We stayed as a family of 4 and everyone had plenty of room. Everyone said their bed was comfortable. The house felt like it was home from home. Communication from Maura was fantastic.

As with all houses, it will have its quirks but nothing bad to report. Nothing in the house stopped us from having a relaxing holiday.

Good location away from traffic but with some grocery, shops, and food in walking distance. Quaint but comfortable.

Parking tough to get in/out

The cottage was spotlessly clean and felt very welcoming and had everything I needed for my stay. It was so convenient for my needs. Bus into the city centre a couple of minutes away and a short drive to the train station, were I could park and get the train into the city centre. It was a short walk to Hazelbank park and a lovely walk along the front to Whiteabbey. The Abbey retail park was literally round the corner. The host Maura was easy to contact and helpful. When I visit Belfast again, I'll definitely be staying at the Littyle Cottage.

There were no negatives to my stay.
