Skye-Fall

The apartment was very comfortable and spacious. It was well equipped. Located in an out of the way place that was very peaceful. We spent the days exploring the Islay of Sky and coming home to Nigel's apartment was very relaxing. We loved interacting with Nigel and his cats! Nigel couldn't be more friendly and helpful. We are already contemplating a return trip to the island and will definitely stay at Nigel's apartment.

Beautiful property. Very kind and helpful host. Very clean. Great base location for visiting isle of Skye! So glad we got to stay here. Also of course watched Skyfall while we were there (provided by the host). Would love to come back

The only thing was the bed was a little hard and loud. I liked the firmness but my husband prefers softer (just a personal choice)

Very well equipped and beautiful apartment. Well located to explore Skye and especially Sleat peninsula.

Nigel is a very caring host and has very good recommendations for activities and restaurants on the island. All in all it was a 10/10. We couldn't wish for more. Would definitely stay there again!

We loved the location, the spacious apartment and the warm welcome we received. Plenty of equipment also available. Very easy parking.

Our only complaint was the bed, which we both found quite uncomfortable and very creaky!

We loved the scenery the comfort, the hospitable welcome, the quality of the property and the peace and quiet- thank you.

We found the peaceful location just a little remote for our purposes, especially on returning to Skye-Fall at night, in the heavy mist, and the need for a car. However it will not stop us from returning.

Lovely quiet spot with good transport links to the rest of the island. Well sign-posted though I can imagine some potential difficulties getting up the ascend to the property in winter if you don’t have good tyres/snow boots/FWD. Spotlessly clean and great facilities, with two bathrooms which is a huge plus. Has everything one would need for a mid-long period stay too, and lots of indoor entertainment options. The welcome scones & Prosecco was such a lovely touch! It certainly helped us with settling in on an otherwise rather wet and dreary couple of days on the island (admittedly Skye is always stunning even on rainy days!) The host is ever so attentive and accommodating - we will be sure to return (availability allows!)

Internet was a tad on the slow side - not a problem for us but if someone relies on that heavily might be a factor to consider.
